Thanks for helping me out this week. Please continue to reply to these emails! Today I'm sharing with you Steve job's #1 Rule for Pitching

This shift to BeeHiiv should be complete by Sunday! Please Reply and say “Hi”. Only two more days of this! Appreciate you all!

Steve Jobs had 1 Rule for Pitching: The Rule of Threes.

Steve Jobs believed that to effectively pitch any product; you had to highlight three specific features. Three was optimal because it was long enough to get stuck in your head but not too long that you’d forget.

Most famously, he introduced the iPhone as a:

  1. Mobile Phone

  2. iPod

  3. Internet Communications Device

Airbnb also very effectively used this strategy. Their seed deck pitched them as a web platform to:

  1. Save Money when travelling

  2. Make Money when hosting

  3. Share Culture with a local connection to the city

Airbnb went so far as to follow the rule of threes on almost every slide of their deck, including pitching their product by saying:

  1. Search by City

  2. Review Listings

  3. Book It
