Today, I want to look at this Series A deck from 8base. It was used to raise $10.6M.
This is a very simple deck is one I’d highly recommend everyone save and use as a template if you ever need to quickly build your own deck. It is very straightforward and lends itself naturally to telling a compelling story.
Simple and straightforward opening slide.
A clear description of the of the problem with some social proof that the problem exists.
A one-sentence solution with details below in a graphic form. (This type of simple one-liner + info are great if you are building a deck for the first time, it makes it easy to read and understand without you worrying about omitting information)

Again, here, if you can’t show growth through your story, just say that you have momentum. It doesn’t need to be fancy.
