Today, we will look at a seed deck from Aeris used to raise $3.3M.
This is a good opening slide. The one-liner is more of a marketing phrase than an investor one-liner, but otherwise, the design is nice.

Starting with traction is a good strategy, especially if you are going to be doing a longer pitch. This immediately tells investors why they should devote their time/energy to hearing your pitch. If you aren’t very confident in your pitching skills then I’d always recommend that you start with some big attractive traction figures to get investors hooked.

This slide mixes the “why now”, “perspective framer” and traditional “opportunity” slides. Overall, it’s very persuasive in convincing investors that this is an industry that is worth investing in. This is especially important with a product/industry like this that can be boring to most.

This is the equivalent of their solution/product slide that shows what the company offers. It would be more impactful with just three points, but overall, it is clear and communicates the value proposition.


Having a clear customer acquisition strategy can be key to getting investors to believe that you can reach the people who are going to be purchasing your goods/services.

This is a good slide for social proof and traction.
