Client Just Raised $1M - See His Pitch

Hey Persuaders! In weekly edition, I'll be sharing a basic framework that I gave a client who just this week raised $1M.

My Advice To Nelson

This is copied exactly word for word from an email I sent Nelson to prepare him for his pitch.

  1. Reinforce the depth of the problem

    “Thanks, Kristin, it’s stunning how big of a problem alcohol has become for our society.”

  2. Health Trend

    “Luckily, it's clear that society is starting to move away from alcohol as more people embrace productivity and health as core tenants of their lives. This trend has truly revolutionized consumer behaviour in the last decade with the decline in popularity of fast food chains, the rise of fitness brands like Lululemon and Peleton, as well as a growing number of health food businesses. It was inevitable that the trend would eventually revolutionize the high-end drinks market.”

  3. Demographic Trend

    “The real catalyst for this sudden increase in demand is another massive societal trend, aging. Demographics are changing, and just as Gen Z and other young consumers are choosing not to drink, older people are quickly exiting the market as their age and focus more on their health. The convergence of these two trends is what has created this incredible opportunity to create the luxury, non-alcoholic drink of the future, a sentence that wouldn’t have made any sense just a decade ago.

  4. Scarcity

    “ Unfortunately, due to the high demand and opportunity in this market, we’ve already had to start turning away some investors and partners. Everyone wants to get in on these trends before the market is saturated, but we are highly committed to maintaining the highest standard and positioning our brand as an exclusive luxury offering.”

  5. We Pick You

    “ At this time, we are truly looking to meet the right partners to move forward with. As such, we’d like to direct you to your link where you can apply to get to know more about us and for the opportunity to explore investment in our business further. We ask that when you apply, you truly take the time to share how you feel you could help us grow, we truly want incredible value add investors.”

  6. Join us on this Journey

    “ We are fighting to solve one of society's biggest problems, alcohol dependency, by providing the first-ever luxury alternative. We hope you will join us in creating a future where non-alcoholic luxury drinks are a multi-billion market celebrating achievements while improving health.

  • Forced Investors To Chase After Him

  • Positions Him As Benefiting From Unique Combination of Large Trends
