♞ Domatic Deck Breakdown
Hey Persuaders!
Today, we will look at a Seed deck from Domatic used to raise $4M.
This is an excellent opening slide. I love the design/look of the deck. The one-liner is solid, and all the other key elements are present. Simple but good.
This seems like it's meant to be a perspective framer, but it dives too deep into the solution and product. The perspective framer needs to look at the high-level problem. You can’t be fixated on the WHAT; you need to focus on the WHY.

For a seed deck, I don’t mind the team slide being early, especially if you don’t have traction or a working product. It’s best if you can finish telling your story before you jump into the team, but highlighting the deal first isn’t a losing strategy.
This should be the first content slide (2nd slide) of a deck. This type of slide is the perspective framer that sets the context of the deck. It is much less impactful when added in the middle of a deck.
This is a weird problem slide. They are merging different types of problem slides, which actually makes it more complex. The first sentence is great, but after that, nothing really seems to be fitting together or clearly explaining what problem needs to be solved.
