♞ Flux Deck Breakdown

Today, we will look at a seed deck from Flux used to raise $3M.

Starting with a team slide is a very bold decision, but they do it perfectly in this case. They show exactly why they can return capital with this business by highlighting their #1 selling point - their expertise.

This slide is a bit of a mess. It tries to mix elements of a problem and opportunity slide. It would be better if they has just gone all in explaining the problem here and not trying so hard to manipulate their narrative.

This might seem like a great problem slide, but they need to give actionable problems. Why is employee turnover so high? If they shared three reasons its high, then they had a solution to those that would be more persuasive.

Now, they are explaining solutions without problems. Again, the downfall of this deck seems to be that it mixes elements of painkiller and vitamin decks. They haven’t commited to whether they are solving a problem or presenting an opportunity.

  • Principle 1: Make it simple for affiliates to earn money

  • Principle 2: Run your program like a professional

  • Principle 3: Build an affiliate recruitment system

This is an educational slide that ultimately kills any narrative that might have been building. If you are going to have education slides, they need to be creatively worked into your deck, not just thrown in when the knowledge is required.

This product slide is very unclear; it doesn’t explain what the company does and relies on significant pre-existing knowledge.
