♞ Heyday Deck Breakdown

Hey Persuaders!

In partnership with

Today, I want to look at this deck from Heyday, which they used to raise $2M in Seed funding.

I won’t be doing a slide-by-slide breakdown of this 38-slide deck. Instead, I want to share with you the first ten slides, which they follow a few strategies that are solely designed to leverage psychology; these are:

  1. Sharing your top traction point early.

  2. Raising social status at the start of your pitch.

  3. Building a strong narrative and perspective framer to help the investor interpret the pitch from the perspective most favourable to you.

This is a traction point and an attempt to establish social status.

More work towards establishing social status

Now we get into a perspective framer here; they are trying to show their perspective on the commerce market and why their product is going to be a fundamental part of the industry.
