This is a horrible cover slide. It’s got no one-liner, so I have no idea what the product actually is. They use a generic AI image, which tells me they have no branding, emotive element or feel/story/narrative behind the product. It’s sending all the wrong signals.

Nothing here is impressive enough to justify the team slide being the first slide in the deck. The fact that they put the team slide first when it really isn’t a core part of the narrative is actually concerning. Again, it speaks to what might be going on behind the scenes. My guess is that this team believes it has accomplished more than it has, and this can be a recipe for disaster if it comes with a cocky attitude that doesn’t permit customer feedback to drive innovation.
On a side note, I was once given the advice to dress casually in any photo on my deck unless doing B2B and to have a relaxed demeanour. I would suggest others follow that advice. It’s not fair, but investors will look at team pictures and “see” a team they don’t want to back. So try not to make basic mistakes with your images. I see some like this where I feel individual images without the jackets would come across better.

There isn’t a true problem in here. This really needs to be reworked to present a clear and solvable problem. Later in the deck, they will mention Motion as a competitor. Motion nailed the problem aspect of their company by focusing on those who have ADHD or find themselves distracted. It’s the same (or very similar) software, but Motion found a market by finding a real problem. This company hasn’t found a problem that they can communicate and get people to connect to.

This isn't needed at this stage.

Same problem as most market slides it doesn’t take a bottom up approach and the top down approach doesn’t mean anything to me.

This is not a solution its’s a list of features. This was predictable as there was no problem, so it would be nearly impossible to put together a strong solution slide. That’s fundamentally where this deck has and will fail.

Again, there's not much here; these comparison categories are so broad. I’ve used Motion and found it extremely easy to use, so that alone makes me question the validity of anything in this deck. This really comes back to them not actually having a problem they are focused on solving.

Too vague again.

It's too vague. I don’t know what most of this means because we don’t have the necessary background information.

I have to say that I checked out their website and think there could be something here. The website still has the same problems, but it has demos of the product, and it is very interesting. If this company can find a clear problem and market for the product, they could be successful, but until they find that, I wouldn't personally bet on them. Building a product, then finding a market, isn’t the right strategy; you find a market, then build for it.
