This is a perfectly fine cover slide. It hits the basic requirements.

Given that this product is technical, it’s important to ensure that all investors can understand and feel the pain points that the target customers experience. By walking them through the customer’s experience, you can help them relate. I don’t normally feel this is the best strategy, but here it seems to be intended to replace educational slides with a more complex industry.

Here we see the problem slide after the walkthrough. As someone non-technical I still struggle to fully understand this but I do see the value they are trying to provide in automating testing for developers.

Personally, this is where they lose me because this deck isn’t dumbed down enough for someone with my level of technical knowledge. I would strongly recommend that if you have a technical product that you assume investors have no knowledge whatsoever when pitching and don’t use any technical terminology at all.

Again, this seems like an attempt to start explaining in more detail, but the baseline level of knowledge required is still too high.
