This one-liner is a marketing pitch, not an investor one. It tried to sell me the product not tell me why to invest.

Mission statements don’t tell me anything. Have a perspective framer here instead. Even a vision statement works better because it paints a picture of a better world. A mission statement is generally just marketing speak that doesn’t mean much.

This is a great high-level problem slide that explains why this problem needs to be solved and why we should care about it.

Diving further into a specific problem within the wider social problem. This is a great format for a two-slide problem section where you get everyone to care wtih the first slide then show the exact place you can add value in the second.

This was a great setup, but then they forgot the solution slide? You can’t jump into a product slide because it does not address the problems you’ve mentioned. The solution is a necessary slide.

This is a good slide that shares their unique perspective on the problem, but again, it means nothing without a solution slide to anchor this information to.

Again, no anchor to a solution, so the product is without context or meaning.
