Sending Cold Emails

Hey Persuaders!

Sending Cold Emails
Read time 0.7 minutes.

One part of the founder experience we all hate but must go through is sending cold emails.

The key to an excellent cold email is all in the subject.

As much as people talk, share advice about the content of a cold email. Bad content gets a reply 2-5% of the time, while great content gets a response 20-25% of the time.

The real difference maker is the subject. Bad subjects get opened 1-2% of the time. Good subjects get opened 70%+ of the time.

So focus on nailing the subject for a 35x improvement, not the content (at least for now) with its 5x improvement.

Invest just like the ultra-wealthy by diversifying your portfolio with real assets like wine & spirits.

Vint provides investment opportunities via qualified offerings pursuant to REG-A+. Their team of experts combine decades of experience and quantitative models to build offerings of assets with a track record of performance.*

What is a killer subject?

You need four key elements:

  1. Use the investor’s name

  2. Use an eye-catching number

  3. Use a call to action

  4. Use a power word

Example: “Liam, join us in beating Apple’s Vision Pro to capture a $300B market”
