Spora Health Deck Breakdown
Hey Persuaders!

Today, I want to look at this deck from Spora Health , which they used to raise $3M in Seed+ funding.
This “cover” slide could have been improved with a one-liner, but it is overall fine. I think the design is great.

I absolutely love this slide. I talk about the importance of perspective framers all the time, and this is an incredible one. Immediately, investors are knocked out of their regular mindset and forced to look at the deck from a whole new perspective. 90%+ of people who will read this deck are white, so this is key to ensuring they don’t just dismiss the problem. It’s clear they aren’t meant to relate to the problem and should be viewing from the perspective of a black person.

I don’t like educational slides but this does a great job of combining an educational and problem slide. It also works because of how strong the perspective framer was in the previous slide, it commands attention.

Solution slide here, isn’t ideal, it focuses more on features than solutions but again, after the strong perspective framer the founders have given themselves a lot of leeway.

Again, for those who worry about their business slide, this is a very clear example of how the slide just needs to show that you can make money. It doesn’t need to be overly complex.

It's a simple competition slide. I don’t love the design here but it is effective.

Strong team slide that shows WHY they will succeed.

Major traction point, this is going to help them raise on its own. This is an insane figure and its’s enough to warrant an investment.
