Using AI in Pitches

Hey Persuaders! Let's chat about using AI in pitches.

How to leverage AI in pitching?

We all know that AI has transformative potential and I get so many questions bout how to use it to improve your pitch.

My answer?

Pitching is NOT about selling a product or service; it's about a dream, a vision, and a passion. An AI can’t communicate those values as effectively as you can.

So what is it good for?

AI is a great tool for analyzing, streamlining, summarizing, and rewording. You can use it to help you find the right words. BUT let the human voice, experiences, and passion shine through in your startup story.

Stanley® tumblers are the latest craze—and so is Divvy, BILL’s free spend and expense management solution. It’s no surprise since 92% of users say Divvy was easy to get up and running, and our TEI report lists a staggering 487% ROI.

Don’t get FOMO, get a free Stanley tumbler when you take a 20-minute demo. Additionally, get $100 when you start using Divvy.

If you want your pitch to hit home you need to communicate the 'why' behind your startup, which is the emotional resonance of your story. The highs and lows, the triumphs and trials, these human elements are irreplaceable and cannot be authentically replicated by AI.

The best pitches are not just about logic and data, but a compelling narrative that demonstrates your values, illuminates the problem you're solving, and humanizes your brand. This narrative should evoke emotions that drive decisions, loyalty, and inspire action.

Remember, you can use AI to enhance you but don’t overly on something designed to be rational and logical when building something that needs to be emotional and compelling.
